In Alamo Heights, this home was designed for a family of five who wanted their space to reflect both sides of their aesthetic—layering softness and color with deeper, more traditional elements tied to their lifestyle and interests. The challenge was not choosing one direction, but creating a thoughtful balance between the two. We leaned into that contrast, pairing playful wallpapers and lighter finishes with rich materials and collected pieces that carry meaning.

Personal elements, including a curated display of hunting trophies and heirloom furnishings, were integrated in a way that feels intentional rather than ornamental—grounding the home in the family’s history while allowing it to evolve. Spaces were reworked to better support how the family lives, including the transformation of an underutilized closet into a fully realized wet bar that now anchors the room.

Throughout, each decision was made to ensure the home feels layered, personal, and distinctly theirs—where refinement and character can exist side by side without compromise.
