Built in the early 20th century, this historic home had beautiful bones but lacked functionality and natural light. We strategically removed walls, preserved the original stone walls, and introduced new details like custom wood wainscoting. To brighten each space, traditional shutters were replaced with motorized shades, and the home was repainted in soft, neutral tones.
The kitchen was designed to feel clean and timeless, with a restrained palette plus a seamless counter and backsplash. The client’s existing art collection was thoughtfully reframed and highlighted throughout, with wallpaper and coverings selected to enhance each piece and create a cohesive, elevated aesthetic.
