About CB Design
Each design project is unique and presents different challenges. I specialize in finding the optimum functionality of your space and create a stunning design around that function, helping you efficiently use every inch of space with a beautiful design that makes life easier.
Best known for classic style and impeccable attention to detail, my mission for each project is to create a unique and custom design that is both intentional and inviting. Every design is built around four core values:
- Integrity Both in the quality of Design & Products
- Attention to detail I focus on the minutia of design to minimize problems and maximize functionality
- Authenticity Your design should reflect you and your unique style and personality
- Timelessness because your design and its elements should last longer than the latest trend
Meet Courtney Balsam
I’m a San Antonio native and graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design.
With over 15 years in the professional field of interior design, I was fortunate to work with HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines at the original Magnolia Market as well as Wilson & Associates in Dallas and Baxter Design Group as senior project designer.
In 2013, Courtney Balsam Interior Design was launched with the mission of creating unique, custom home designs that blend luxury with functional living. Each day I continue to find great joy helping clients see their spaces transform, making their dream home a reality.
Throughout the years, I’ve worked with builders, architects, and trade vendors throughout San Antonio and the surrounding areas. During that time, I have developed a vast knowledge of all project aspects, from building and construction to materials and resources. This, coupled with my design and management skills helps create a seamless process for you, your builder, architect and all other trade consultants – eliminating mistakes and saving you time and money.
